Article 4 - Delegates

    Items # 3 Chapters need to do this each spring

Article 5 - Meetings

    Item # 2 - Add "s" to the word meeting; delete   "or by the Executive Committee of this          Council"

    Item # 3(b) Change to Regional Director(s)

Article 8 Standing Committees

    Item # 1 Executive Committee - I can no recall the Carolinas Council ever designating/         using an Exec. Committee.  Do we keep this section?

    Item # 2 Chap[ter Services Committee - Under Section  A.(1) Replace CMS & CLEWS with LTS.   Under Section A(4) Replace national Director(s) with Regional Directors

    Item # 4 Nominating Committee - Subpart   b(1) should read -- Select & submit to the council for approval by the delegates/alternates a nominee for National Vice-President.  The selection will be from a group of candidates who have the following qualifications:

    a) Past Regional Director or,

    b) Past Council President or,

    c) Past Chapter President or,

    d) Other Naional or Council service

    e) Ability to serve a two year term

    f) Have Company/Personal financial support

Subpart b(2) Should read - Slect & submit to the Council for approval by the delegates/ alternates a list of Regional Director nominees. The selection will be from a pool of candidates who have the following qualifications:

    a)   Past Chapter President

    b)   Participation on a National Committee or active in Council Affairs

    c)   Able to serve a two year term

    d)   Have Company/Personal financial support

Subpart #3 Should read "Council President Elect who will also serve as Council Representative to the Operations Committee for one year, and become Council President for one year at the end of a one year term as President Elect"

Under #3(a) Substitute Regional for National Director

Delete entire Subpart # 4

Item # 5 Education Committe -- These duties were added to those of the VP Accounting Conference

Item # 6 Awards Committee Dissolved at the March 9, 2002 Council Meeting
